Deb Wood

Grad Cert Counselling & Family Therapy

Deb has been counselling for the past 9 years in private practice. She realized at age 52, after supporting her husband in his vocation and raising a family, that she wanted to gain some further tools to help her do what she loves to do……..to help others better understand their own value system and belief structures.

Deb delights in helping her clients to discover insights into their ways of thinking that can become their tools for healing and emotional growth. As their slowly peel back the layers of the present and the past, ‘The light bulb moments’ create an option for change, to do things a different way.

Deb help her clients explore this through therapies such as, Genogram (Family History), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Inner Child, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dr John & Dr Julie Gottmann (Couples), and others.
